The thorough assessment processes we engage in play a key role in ensuring CABs release quality and accurate patient results.
SADCAS is committed to excellence in assessment processes for its member states.”
In 2024 a lot of CABs under SADCAS underwent a transition from ISO 15189 2012 to the new 2022 version. One of the members states that the assessment team visited was Eswatini. It was encouraging to see Eswatini CABs successfully adapting to ISO 15189:2022. The smooth transitions heighten the commitment and the readiness of the CABs, along with SADCAS efficiency in overseeing the process.
The involvement of assessors from various SADC Countries enhances the assessment by incorporating diverse expertise and perspectives. Additionally, this approach promotes regional cooperation and reinforces the quality assurance framework across the SADC region.
