Mrs Pinkie Malebe joined SADCAS in October 2015 as Scheme Coordinator Testing Laboratories, Veterinary Laboratories and Proficiency Testing Accreditation Schemes. Prior to joining SADCAS Mrs Malebe worked at Botswana Bureau of Standards as a Principal Scientist. She is a Microbiologist by profession, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Botswana.  She has extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Standardization proficiency testing, laboratory management and accreditation.

Mrs Malebe is charged with the responsibility of the overall management of SADCAS accreditation processes in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011 standard, ILAC/IAF and AFRAC requirements, management of assessors as well as to represent SADCAS in regional and international accreditation fora on technical issues.

Finance and Administration Manager

Laureen Gudo the SADCAS Finance and Administration Manager joined SADCAS in 2009. Mrs Gudo is responsible for the financial management, human resources management and general administration of the Company. Mrs Gudo joined SADCAS from Grant Thornton Botswana.

Mrs Gudo graduated from the University of Botswana in 2002 with a first class Bachelor of Accounting degree. She is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Botswana Institute of Accountants (BICA).

Mr. Xavier Mugari joined SADCAS in May 2019 as Quality Manager responsible for managing SADCAS Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that it complies with requirements of ISO/IEC 17011, AFRAC, SADCA, ILAC and IAF. Mr. Mugari has a wealth of experience in establishing, implementing and managing quality systems. Prior to joining SADCAS, he worked as a QMS Consultant at Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). He is a trained AFRAC Peer Evaluator and a qualified SADCAS Team Leader for ISO 15189. Mr. Mugari holds Master of Business Administration Degree (UNZA), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences Honours Degree (UZ), Diploma in Quality Management (Ireland) and Certificate in Total Quality Management (UNISA). Mr Mugari's MBA thesis focused on performance of Total Quality Management and ISO 9001 systems towards patient satisfaction in Healthcare Organisations.
