Foods Botswana trained on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Requirements & Internal Auditing

A five-day training on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Requirements & Internal Auditing was conducted for Foods Botswana at their offices in Serowe, Botswana from 10th to 14th March 2025. The training g course was attended by ten (10) participants.Foods Botswana is a private company involved in food processing. 

The participants included The Quality Officer, Laboratory Technicians, Quality Control Inspector, Equipment Maintenance Officer, Production Manager, Accounts Supervisor, SHE Officer, Laboratory Assistant and Supplies Officer. Expectations from the participants included, understanding ISO 17025 standard requirements, how to develop and implement a Quality Management System, how to conduct audits, how to write quality manuals, how to fully address non-conformities and help the organisation to attain accreditation.

The course concluded with a practical audit session which covered the identification of non-conformities, classification of non-conformities, audit checklist, and reporting of audit findings, and this was followed by an exam. 

The participants thanked SADCAS for delivery of the training course as they embark on the their journey to accreditation.
