𝐆𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐄, 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐀– The media is invited to cover the Official Opening Ceremony of the 17th African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC) General Assembly and Meetings on Monday, 21 September 2026, at the Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel & Convention Centre in Gaborone.

Hosted by the Southern African Development Community Accreditation Service (SADCAS), the Meetings will bring together accreditation bodies, technical experts and quality infrastructure stakeholders from across Africa from 21–25 September 2026.

The Meetings will focus on strengthening accreditation and Africa’s quality infrastructure in support of regional and international trade, industrialisation, consumer protection and economic integration, including implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
